015 Orkney

Orkney After the buzz of Islay I immediately headed off to Orkney. A land or more correctly a group of islands off the north coast of Scotland that I have always wanted to visit but have never managed to do so. I talk about Skara Brae, The Ring of  Brodgar, Ness of Brodgar, The Churchill Barriers and The Italian Chapel.  In five days I only managed to scratch the surface of what Orkney has to offer the visitor. I will have to return some time soon as the Ness of Brodgar archaeological site was not being worked upon nor open to the public.   It's a site I'm really keen to see. Kevin
